The Story You Choose To Believe

‘Do not wage a war on reality, invest in shaping perceptions. Our truth is not what we see. Our truth is the story we choose to believe.’- The Diary of a CEO

Where you are today is not where you are going to be tomorrow. What you are doing right now, it is not what you are going to be doing tomorrow.

The things that you are celebrating now, what is making you happy now, what you are chasing now, it is not what you are going to be chasing tomorrow.

But you have got to change something. Because what you are looking for is not going to happen by accident.

It is not going to happen by accident. You must do something about it. Because nothing is going to happen without you. Your life is not going to change without you.

If you are tired of what is going on in your life, don’t fight yourself. Instead of beating yourself up, why not take your time to question what you have been telling yourself, the story you have been carrying around?

Because where you are is not the problem. What you are doing is not the problem. The real problem is what you are telling yourself. It is what you choose to believe.

If you want to change where you are, you must change your thoughts. If you want to change the direction of your life, you must change the story you are telling yourself. And you must stop believing your own story.

To grow, you must stop believing your own story. Because it is not true.

The question is, ‘Do you have the courage to change the story you are telling yourself?’
