‘Extraordinary results becomes possible when where you want to go is completely aligned with what you do today?’– Gary Keller

The process of getting from ordinary results to extraordinary results is a long one. It is a hard one. It requires a lot of work. It requires a lot of planning.

Planning is not everything. Without it, we are not going anywhere.

Like other great things in life, they take time to make. It doesn’t happen overnight. If you want it to happen, you must be willing to do the work.

So how do you get from an ordinary to extraordinary? You can, but you have got to be patient with yourself.

Remember that success starts with knowing what you want. If you know what you want, then you can figure out how to make it happen.

But if you don’t know what you want, you can’t figure out what you do not know. That is the issue with not knowing what you want. It brings confusion into your life.

Getting from where you are to where you want to be, you must change yourself. You must be who you are. Then you can follow your path.

You have got to be patient with yourself. You have got to be patient with the process. Because things take time to mature.

You must commit yourself to where you are going. Do not get distracted. Learn everything you can about your journey. Do not doubt yourself. Believe in your journey. Believe that you can make it happen. And be willing to get your hands really dirty.

When you want something bigger than yourself, you have got to double your power. You have got to be more, think more, and act more.

If you are trying your best to create a better future for yourself, you are getting closer to where you want to go. But to get there, you must commit yourself to doing your best work today.

We Cannot Will Ourselves To Greatness

To be like … great masters, we cannot simply will ourselves to be like them.

We need to cultivate the qualities they possess.

To cultivate the qualities of compassion, wisdom, and dignity, we need to check our motivation and make aspirations.

Motivation is like a mirror- it reflects your present intention.

Aspiration is like a doorway to the future- it ushers you to the results you wish to achieve.

Without motivation, you cannot even start on the path; without aspiration, it would be difficult to reach the results.’
