Moving Away From Your Past Failures

“…it is vital for you to decide what changes you want to bring into your life.”- Jim Stovall

Live your own life and forget your past failures. You can’t concentrate on creating your new life if you can’t let go of your past failures. They are just failures, not you. Do not let your failures define who you are. You are better than that. You are more powerful than you think.

If you want to create your new life, if you want to try again, if you want to better your life, if you want to protect your sanity, if you want to maintain a sound mind, if you want to live successfully, you MUST forget about your past failures. Because the more you concentrate on your past failures, the more you are missing what is happening around you. And if you miss the present, you can’t create the future you want for yourself.

Learn to forget. Learn to let go of the things that are not helping you move closer to your dreams. Don’t let your past mistakes and failures weigh you down. Instead, look for something positive to think about. Do things that will help you live a better life- you can walk, meditate, sing (if you can), call a great friend, or just relax. The choice is yours.

The Power Of Inner Peace

We want inner peace, but we don’t know how to get there. Inner peace has the power to change our lives. It is what we need to live a better life. If we can’t live a peaceful life, what do we do?

We can make peace with ourselves. How? You can make peace with your life by living your own life. Don’t focus on what is not making you happy. It is what we have to have if we are to live a peaceful life. No matter how great your life is materially, if you are not at peace with yourself, you will not be happy with your outside world.

“Inner peace is the key: if you have inner peace, the external problems do not affect your deep sense of peace and tranquility.”- Dalai Lama

To make yourself really happy, to make peace with yourself, you must do the right things. For example, if you see someone who is hurting, if you see someone who needs help, do what is within your power. Help people with love.

According to Dalai Lama, “Without this inner peace, no matter how comfortable your life is materially, you may still be worried, disturbed or unhappy because of circumstances.” He is right. Money can’t buy you inner peace. Money can’t buy you happiness. Money cannot buy you health. But it does make people comfortable.

It is good to have money, but it can’t buy you inner peace. If you want inner peace, it is your responsibility to live your own life. If you can live your own life, peace will follow you.
