Be you. Do not change who you are. Do not try to be who you are not. If you do, it won’t work. It will make you even more miserable.

You are alive when you are you, when you have the courage to express yourself. Being you is NOT about trying to be like another person.

Being you is not about denying yourself love, greatness. Being you is not about impressing other people. Being you is not about enduring your life.

Being you is not about accepting what you are more than. Being you is not about settling for less. Being you is not about rejecting yourself.

Being you is not about faking your life. Being you is not about suffering in pain. Being you is not about treating yourself with disrespect.

Being you is not about ignoring your stories. Being you is about your struggles. It is about your weaknesses. It is about your strengths. It is about your stories. And it is about your journey.

Being you is accepting who you are, no matter what. Being you is having the courage to live your life, even when people don’t like the way you live your life. Being you is accepting your imperfections.

Being you is living your life, is enjoying your life, even when things are not perfect. Being you is about appreciating your life, no matter what you are going through.

And being you is about having the courage to face yourself, no matter what. It is having the courage to accept your life. Being you is about self-love, not about self-rejection.

The question is, ‘Do you have the courage to love yourself, to accept who you are, no matter what?

As always, when life throws hard balls at you, remember, You are more, not less!

You are who you are, not what you do. ‘We must all beware of letting our value rest in what we do, because no matter what it is that we do, the day will probably come when we won’t do it any longer.’

‘No matter how many other people love you, if you don’t love yourself, you will still feel lonely.’

‘Being free is much more important than being right.’

‘Joy is to our lives like gasoline is to an engine. Without gasoline, the engine will not run; without joy, I don’t believe the human being runs well either.’

‘Never apologize for being the person you are. That would be like an apple tree apologizing for not being a banana tree. If you’re an apple tree, then produce apples; if you’re a banana tree, then produce bananas! It takes all kinds of fruit to make a fruit salad.’

‘Any time we try and fail, we learn something that can benefit us in the future if we won’t give up.’

‘We are never free until we have no need to impress other people.’

‘Many people will tell you that you can’t do a thing if it is something out the ordinary, but if it not ordinary, then it can be extraordinary.’

‘If God wanted us to be miserable, He would not have offered us mercy!’

‘God does not want us to feel belittled and insignificant because we sin; He wants us to face our faults, receive mercy and press on.’

‘Many of our mistakes are made while we are trying to do something right.’

‘We may be sincere, but still be sincerely wrong. We may have good intentions, and still create a mess. God sees our heart, our motives and intentions and is willing to clean up our messes while we are growing.’

‘God’s mercy sets us free to keep trying even though we often makes messes.’

‘There is no fee that you have to pay to go to God’s party. After all, it is being given in your honor, so it would be a shame if you didn’t show up.’

‘We cannot move on to where we would like to be if we refuse to face where we are!’
