When You Raise Your Standards

What you want matters. If you don’t know what you want, you are not going to be able to achieve anything in your life.

No matter who you are, what you want, where you want to be, how smart you are, how creative you are, to be successful, you must raise your standards.

If you are not getting what you want, check your standards. If your life is not what you want, then it is time to look at your standards.

If they are not high enough, raise them. If you are with people who are not doing anything, if you want growth, you must change your friends.

Whatever it is that you are not okay with in your life, do not keep it. Let it go. If you don’t let it go, it will let you go.

Think about it. Getting to the top is not easy. It is full of obstacles. But do not let that stop you from raising your standards.

It matters. Just because you are struggling to get things done doesn’t mean you have to lower your standards. Do not do that.

That is the fastest way to failure. But if you want to grow, if you want to experience a meaningful life, you must raise your standards.

Because success comes from raising your stardards, not from lowering them.

If you want to experience real happiness in your life, you must raise your stardards.

If you want to attract quality people into your life, you must raise your standards.

If you want to boost your self-worth, you must raise your standards.

And

if you want to improve your life, you must raise your standards. The question is, Will you do it? The choice is yours.

The Power Of A True Friend

‘A true friend is forever a friend.’- George MacDonald

If you can’t find a true friend, then be a true friend to someone else.

We need other great, positive people in our lives. We need people who are going to be there for us when the going is no longer in view.

We need other people to lift us up when we are down, when we are not ourselves.

We need other people to be with us, but do not wait. Do not wait for others to be your friend. If you cannot be your own best friend, you are in trouble.

If you want to live a meaningful life, start by being comfortable with yourself. If you are comfortable with yourself, you can bring other comfortable people into your life. To put it another way, you won’t have any problem attracting other great people into your life.

No one can make you feel really comfortable with your inner self, with your real self.

Be your own best friend. You can make it happen. How? You start by loving yourself. By treating other people with respect.

People want respect. People want to be around other people who treat them with respect, with love, with dignity, with compassion.

And they want to stay away from people who do not respect them, who are self-centered, who are after other people for themselves, who are not happy, who don’t know what they want, and who are not going anywhere in life.

If you are having trouble finding your best friend, do not worry. It takes time to know people. It takes time to know who we are. And it takes time to know the world around us.

Do not worry about it. There is nothing wrong with you. When the time comes, you will meet your best friend. But before you meet your best, you can be your own best friend. How about that?

Remember, you are your own best friend. Why not celebrate yourself?
