We all want to live a peaceful life- a life without stress. But is that really possible? If it is possible, how can we achieve it?

The answers to the above questions are in our own hands, in our thoughts, and in our actions.

We can enjoy our lives if we can accept the fact that there is NO stress-free life. It is not possible. But what we can do is to learn how to live and manage our problems. We can do that. It is simple. To do that, let us explore the following strategies:

Spend time with the right people. We love our friends. We want to be with our friends. But the question is, “Are they the right friends?”

Be happy with what you have. If you don’t stop complaining about what is missing, you will never see what is present. Learn to let go of what is holding you back, and open your door to what will take you to the next level- your dreams.

Respect yourself and others. Respect other people. Respect yourself. Value who you are, not who you are not. The more you respect yourself, the more you will feel good about yourself. It is good for your health.

Love. A loving heart knows no hate. Love is fearless. Love can conquer all things. Where there is love, there is life. If you want to live a peaceful life, love is the way.

Laugh. Laugh at yourself everyday! It frees up your mind. Do not be too big to laugh at yourself. Marla Cilley says, “Laugh everyday, even if it’s at yourself!”

Discipline yourself. If you lack discipline, you will find it difficult to live a peaceful life. Jim Rohn said, “Every discipline, or lack of one, affects every other discipline.” In order to live a peaceful life, you must discipline yourself. Stay away from things that are against your values. Live your own life.

Strong Convictions Precede Great Actions

If you believe in yourself, there is nothing you cannot achieve. Success starts with self-belief. If you believe in yourself, other people will believe in you and follow you to the gate of hell. Louisa May Alcott said, “He who believes is strong; he who doubt is weak. Strong convictions precede great actions.”

If you believe in yourself, you are strong. You can take on anything. You can do anything. You can change your life. You can face your fears. You can defeat your fears. You can connect with your inner self. But if you don’t believe in yourself, you won’t be able to connect with your real self. We need to connect with ourselves if we are to enjoy our lives. You cannot enjoy another person’s life. You can only enjoy your own life. And you cannot enjoy your life if you don’t know your real self. NEVER DOUBT YOURSELF!

But if you doubt yourself, you have defeated yourself. You have planted the seed of fear and doubt in your mind. Believe you can do anything, and you can. Norman Vincent Pearle once said, “Believe in yourself! Have faith in your abilities! Without a humble but reasonable confidence in your own powers you cannot be successful or happy.”

Believe in yourself.

Believe in your abilities.

Be confident.

Be bold. Be fearless, but be respectful.

Work hard. Work smart.

Success will come to you.

Words are strong and powerful. So be careful what you saying to yourself. If you want to say something to yourself, let it be something positive. Let it be something inspirational. Stop saying negative things to yourself. You are better and smarter than that. Positive words are what your mind is craving for. Feed your mind with positive words, and your world will change forever.

Are you ready to start saying positive things to yourself? If you are ready, start today.
