You build your character by what you do every day. You build your character by how you handle the things that happen to you in life. Your character is who you are. You can have everything on earth, but if you lack character, you have lost everything. Your character is your foundation upon which everything is built. If you lack character, everything will collapse.
Your character is how you treat people, how you handle things, how you carry yourself, and how you view the world.
Let us look at what great minds have said about character. Anne Frank said, “Parent can only give advice or put them on the right paths, but the final forming of a person’s character lies in their own hands.” Be careful what you do every day, because whether you know it or not, you are building your own character. Jim Rohn said, “Character is built by how you respond to what happens in your life- whether it’s winning every game, losing every game, getting rich or dealing with hard times.” It does not matter what you are responding to, if you don’t respond well, you are building your own character. If you treat people in a terrible way, you are building your own character.
If you want to have a great character, always do the right thing. When you act right, you will live right. When you act wrong, you will live wrong.
Your character is
you. You are your character. Don’t joke with it!
It is not who gets there first. It is who stays there. It is easier to get to where you want to be in life than to remain there. Success is fluid. Success is dynamic. Success is in motion. Success is not static. You have to keep chasing it. It is a process, not a destination.
The most successful people are scared of one
thing: “They don’t want to be poor again.”
That is why they do everything in their power to
maintain their wealth. You can do the same, too.
It is easier to get there than to stay there. If you want to stay successful, you must change your strategy. You must change your mindset. If you want to get different results, stop doing the same old things that got you to where you are. Albert Einstein famously said, “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”
Lots of people fail to stay where they are because
they lost focus. They forget how they got to where they are. They forget who they
are, what they care about, and what is important to them. Instead of focusing
on personal and professional development, they got carried away by what other
people are doing. What they are doing is no longer interesting to them. They
think their friends are doing better than they are. They think their friends
are ahead of them.
I have good news for you: it does not matter who got there first. What really matters is how you got there. Life is all about getting there versus staying there. It depends on you.
