‘In which area of your life do you feel a burnout approaching?

What boundaries can you experiment with?

Where do you need tot say no? What is your enough point?’- Jenna Kutcher

Take care of your life. Do not say yes to everything. Why is that? Because not everything is really important to you.

If you say yes to everything, you are saying no to yourself.

Do not try to please everybody. You can’t do it. And do not even try to do it.

Remember why you are here. Do not forget that. If you do, if you try to please everybody, you are not living your life. You are just existing.

So whatever is holding you back, say no to it. Whatever is making you unhappy, say no to it. If you do not have the courage to say no to worthless things, you will never achieve your dreams. Do you want that to happpen to you?

If you do not want it, then change yourself. Because when you change, your world will change.

Satisfaction Is …

In his book From Strength to Strength: Finding Success, Happiness, and Deep Purpose in the Second Half of Life, Arthur C. Brooks writes, ‘Your satisfaction is what you have, divided by what you want. … As you increase your haves without managing your wants, your wants will proliferate and sprawl. You can easily be less and less satisfied as you move up the success ladder, because your wants will always outstrip your haves. And when they do, your satisfaction will fall.’

You can take control of it. It is within your power. To do that, you must first define what is important to you. If you do not know what is important to you, you will never stop buying what you do not need.

‘If you are ready to manage your wants- to start chipping away- the first step is to ask what exactly needs chipping.’- Arthur C. Brooks

If you want to be happy, to be satisfied, focus on what you have, not on what you wants. If you have the courage to focus on your haves, your satisfaction will not fall. Instead, it will go up.
