If you want to make peace with yourself, with your soul, with the world, you must do these four things every day:
According to Henry Van Dyke, “To think seldom of your enemies, often of your friends, and every day of Christ; to spend as much as time as you can in God’s out-of- doors– these are the little guideposts on the foot paths to peace.”
To change your life, according to Nelson Mandela, you must do these four things:
You must conduct yourself with morality. Mandela said, “Those who conduct themselves with morality, integrity and consistency need not to fear the forces of inhumanity and cruelty.”
You must dedicate yourself to what you do. In Mandela’s words, “Everyone can rise above their circumstances and achieve success if they are dedicated to and passionate about what they do.”
You must learn from pleasant and unpleasant experiences. “It is in the character of growth that we should learn from both pleasant and unpleasant experiences.”
