Why You Can’t Force People To Trust You

Trust takes time. If you want people to trust you, you must first trust yourself.

Trust is everything. It is the foundation of everything. It takes time . If you want people to trust you, you must work for it. You must earn it.

Trust comes with a price. If you are not honest with people, they won’t trust you. If you really want to build a relationship of trust, you have got to be patient with other people. You have got to be patient with yourself.

Trust is doing what you say you are going to do.

In the words of Grant Golliher, ‘A relationship of trust is a relationship that can last forever.’ So if you want people to trust you, you must ‘be patient and give them the space and freedom to face their fear.’

If not, you are not building trust; you are forcing people to trust you. And they won’t.
