If At First You Don’t Win, Don’t Quit

If at first you don’t win, do not quit. According to W.C. Fields, “If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again. Then quit. No use being a damn fool about it.” Failure will always come to you. You can’t stop failure. The only thing you can do is to embrace it. Don’t limit yourself. Allow yourself to fail. Because without failure, you will never grow. We grow when we fail, when we make mistakes. As Sophia Loren once said, “Mistakes are part of the dues one pays for a full life.” Without failure, nothing happens. Without failure, you won’t grow.

“If you are not failing, you are not doing enough.”

And if you want to grow, do not fear failure. Failure is the way, not the obstacle. If you are not failing, you are not doing enough. If you are not failing, you are not learning. If you are not failing, you are not growing. Do not let failure stop you from living your full life. You can do anything. You can create anything. You can be anything. But you must work really hard to make it happen.

“Without failure, there can be no growth.”

Talk is cheap. Actions are expensive. Do not be a talker, be a doer. Talkers fear failures. But doers welcome failures. They learn from their mistakes.

And without failure, there can be no growth, there can be no success, and there can be no happiness.
