Is Hard Work Enough To Win

What separates high achievers from others is hard work. As Sam Ewing once said, “Hard work sportlights the character of people: some turn up their sleeves, some turn up their noses, and some don’t turn up at all.” You can’t succeed without hard work. The question is, “Are you giving your best?”

Remember that to get the best, you must give the best. And you can’t give the best if you don’t know what you are good at. To know what you are good at, you must assess yourself. You must develop the ability to assess yourself. You must find out what you are not good at, what you are really good at, and you must turn your weaknesses into your power.

Whatever you are doing right now, no matter how difficult, do not give up. As Thomas Muller once remarked, “All things are difficult before they are easy.” If what you are doing right now is not going according to your plan, keep doing it. It will get better. You will win if you don’t give up. Helen Rowland said, “You will never win if you never begin.” You have what it takes to change your life. Don’t talk yourself out of it. Be hopeful. Thomas Fuller said, “Great hopes make great men.” Be happy. Keep pursuing your dreams. That is why you are here.

It Is Okay To Fail

According to Beverly Sills, “You may be disappointed if you fail, but you are doomed if you don’t try.” Yes, you are doomed if you don’t try. People don’t try because they are afraid of failure. They are afraid of other people’s opinions. They don’t want to fail. But if you have the courage to try, even if you fail, you are not a failure. You are a winner. Don’t be scared to try something new. Don’t be scared to get out of your comfort zone. Remember, no matter what it is, if you don’t try, you will never win. So if you want to win, if you want to join the top ten, you must try. You must cultivate the courage to try.

Albert Einstein said, “Failure is success in progress.” It is okay to fail. Just be patient with yourself. As Adel Bestavros once said, “… patience with self is hope…” The purpose of your life is to fail your way to success.

When you fail, be patient with yourself. Because life is a battle ground. You are here to strengthen your muscles. Rainer Maria Rilke said, “The purpose of life is to be defeated by greater and greater things.” If you want to win in your life, make failure your best friend, not your enemy.
