Your happiness does not depend on other people, because you are responsible for your OWN happiness.

If you are waiting for people to make you happy, you will wait forever. Because your happiness is your responsibility, not their responsibility. No one can make you happy, but you.

If you are not happy with your life, don’t blame anyone for it. Blame yourself. Don’t wait for the government to make you happy. Don’t wait for other people to make you happy.

Take actions to change what you do not like about your life. Only action can change your life, not inaction. Take actions for things to change. If you don’t, no one will do it for you.

To be really happy, just go out there and make things happen. Don’t allow things to happen to you, make things happen for you. If you allow things to happen to you, then you are not in charge of your life.

Christian D. Larson said, “And it is the bringing forth of being through the act of doing that produces happiness that is happiness.”

No matter where you are now in your life, things are not always going to be going your way all the time. No matter what happens, the way you respond to it will make all the difference.

If things didn’t go your way, don’t give up. Don’t make excuses for why things did not go your way. If you fail, start again. If you don’t know what to do, find something important to do with your time.

Don’t waste your time. If you waste your time, you are wasting your life. Life and time cannot be separated. If you value your life, you will do everything in your power to use your time wisely.

As Carl Sandburg once said, “Time is the coin of your life. It is the only coin you have, and only you can determine how it will be spent. Be careful lest you let other people spend it for you.”

In other words, if you want to be happy, really happy, use your time wisely.

No one is responsible for your happiness but you. You can make yourself happy if you want. It is your responsibility to change your life and the things that are making you sad.

Happiness is within you. It is a state of your mind. If you REALLY want to be happy in life, it is easy.

The happiness that you are looking for is not outside you, it is inside you. Look within you for your happiness. If you look outside for your happiness, you will never find it.

You can create your own happiness by doing the following:

Pursue your own goals. If you want to be happy, pursue your own goals. Do not let people tell you how your goals should look like. If you allow people to set your goals for you, you are running after their own goals, not yours. To be happy in life, set your own goals.

Increase the things that make you happy, run away from what makes you sad. This is simple, but it is hard for a lot of people to do. You cannot be happy if you stick to what makes you sad. It is not realistic. If you stay around what makes you happy, your happiness will increase. If you stay around the things that make you unhappy, your happiness will decline. To be happy, do the things that increase your happiness, not what will reduce it.

Pursue your purpose. You have a reason to live, to be happy, to enjoy your life. But if you don’t have a clear purpose in life, you cannot enjoy your life. Pursuing something important in life is what makes us happy. You have to have a reason to live your life. If not, you will find it hard to be happy with your life.

Believe in yourself. It is only when you believe in yourself that you can do anything of value. If you don’t believe in yourself, you can not do anything of value in life. Because you believe you cannot do it. If you believe that you can do something to change your own life, you can. But you have to first believe in yourself.

Money cannot buy you happiness. Money is good to live your life. Money makes people feel comfortable, but cannot buy you happiness. If you want to be happy, don’t base your happiness on money. Because if money disappears, your happiness will follow suit. To make yourself really happy, base your happiness on YOU.

Surround yourself with happy people. Happiness is contagious. It is better to be around happy people than to be around negative people. The more you are around positive and happy people, the more you will feel better about yourself. The more you feel better about yourself, the more things you will do to change your life. Action brings happiness.

Happiness is within your reach if you want it. Focus on what is working for you, not what is not working. The more you focus on good things, the more you will feel better about yourself, and the happier you will be in your life.
