Why Is Today So Important?

Why is today so important? Why is today so important to you, to me, and to the world? Why?

Today is important not for what you think. Today is important for other reasons.

Today is important because everything that you are looking for in life happens in the present. All that you ever needed to succeed in life is happening right now. It is happening in the present. Not yesterday, not tomorrow, but today.

Mary Shelley said, “The beginning is always today.” She is right.

The beginning of a new life starts today. The beginning of a new job search starts today. The beginning of a new relationship starts today. The beginning of your future success starts today.

The things you will do to better your life is always today. If you want to change your life, or others things that are not working for you, do it today. If you want your future to be brighter than today, do the right things today.

You can do it! Don’t give up too soon. There are more chances ahead of you.

Even if it is not looking good today, if you don’t give up, it will look better tomorrow. It will happen ONLY if you commit yourself to doing the right things. Look for things that will help you grow and do it. Find out things you are doing that are hurting your life and stay away from them. Don’t hang around people who are wasting TODAY.

Why is that?

Because if you waste today doing the wrong things, you will get the wrong results. But if you use today wisely, if you use today in good ways, you will get great results. Your future depends on today. Your future depends on what you are doing right now. Your future does not depend on what you are going to do tomorrow, your future does not depend on what you did yesterday, your future depends on what you are doing right now.

If you want to grow your business, start it today.

If you want to be a better writer, start it today.

If you want to have peace of mind, start thinking in a peaceful way today.

If you want to be happier tomorrow, start making people happy today.

It is always today!

Nothing In Life Is Permanent

We suffer because we want to make things permanent in life. We want everything to stay with us. We want to live in the same place forever. We want to do the same thing forever. We want to marry the same person forever. We want to maintain the same relationships forever.

It is okay to want to make things permanent, but can you do it without putting yourself under pressure, without making yourself unhappy, without messing up with your mind. Not always possible.

You will enjoy your life if you accept the fact that not everything will stay with us forever. You will change your house, your car, your career, your job, your shoes, or your relationships, or they will change you for another owner.

You cannot eat the same food for your entire life. Could you?

Kids will go off to school, to work, to another country, to meet their new friends. These changes are normal. What is not normal is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. That is not normal.

Would you be happy if you have been in the same position for years without a single promotion?

Why are people not happy with their lives?

Because they want things to be permanent. They want to hold on to things that are no longer helpful to them. If you want to be happy, clean up your mind, your house, your car, or your head. Get rid of the things that you are not helpful to you and your career.

Charlie Chaplin said, “Nothing is permanent in this wicked world- not even our troubles.”

Our failures are not permanent. Don’t make them permanent.

Nothing is permanent. Don’t make it permanent. Our successes are not permanent- they come and go. Our troubles are not permanent, unless you want to make them permanent.

Buddha said, “Peace comes from within. Do not seek it from without.” If you want peace of mind, don’t try to change things that you cannot change. Don’t try to make things permanent. Learn how to practice the art of letting things go, and you will live a peaceful life.
