Running away from a problem is not making it better; it is making it worse. Your soul is the heart of your life. Take care of it. Listen to your heart. Listen to your soul. It has something to tell you. Don’t ignore it. Carl Jung said, “People will do anything, no matter how absurd, in order to avoid facing their own souls.” If you want to live a peaceful life, it is important to listen to your soul. No one can take care of your soul for you. It is yours. You can either choose to take care of your soul, or you can ignore it. The choice is yours.
“Peace is not something you wish for; it is something you make, something you do, something you are, and something you give away.”– Robert Fulghum
If you want to connect with your REAL life, your inner self, your inner voice, you need to nurture your mind. When you nurture your mind, your mind will nurture you. You can’t be productive if you don’t have a healthy mind.
A peaceful life is a life with problems. No one can live a peaceful life without a problem. If you want peace, fight for it. It is your responsibility to make peace with yourself. Anthony de Mello said, “If it is peace you want, seek to change yourself, not other people.” If you can’t make peace with yourself, you can’t make peace with other people. Because a peaceful life starts with you.
If you are not at peace with yourself, check your thoughts. Are you thinking the right thoughts? Are you doing the right things? Are your words positive? Because you can’t be at peace with yourself if your words are negative. You can’t be at peace with yourself if your actions are negative. You can’t be at peace with yourself if you occupy your mind with negative thoughts.
If you want to be at peace with yourself, make peace with your mind.
