Playing Not To Lose

A lot of us want to succeed, but we are playing it too safe. Success does not come from playing a safe game. Success does not come from playing not to get hurt. Success does not come from play not to make mistakes.

Playing a safe game is playing to be comfortable. Playing a safe game is playing to remain in your comfort zone. But if you want to move yourself to the next level, if you want to grow, to be successful, to be happier, to be healthier, you MUST be ready to play the real game.

You cannot win at anything unless you are ready to be uncomfortable. You cannot win at anything unless you are ready to do things differently. If you keep doing the same thing over and over again, you will continue to get the same old, boring results.

If you change what you are doing, how you are doing it, the result will change.

“It is impossible to win the race unless you venture to run, impossible to win the victory unless you dare to battle.”- Richard M. Devos

Don’t play a safe game, play it differently, and you will get a different result. If you play it safe, you will be safe, but nothing will happen in your life. There will be no growth.

You will always win if you are ready to get dirty, to be honest with yourself. Doing something the first time is scary, and it will always be scary. But don’t let that stop you from facing your fears. Don’t let that stop you from aggressively pursuing your dreams. If you don’t do it, no one will do it for you.

Success is within your reach, but ready to be uncomfortable.

The Secret Of Your Future

Can you predict your future? Do you know how your future is going to look like?

It depends on where you are today, what you are doing today, and what you have done in the past. It depends on how you are living your life right now.

To know how your tomorrow will look like, take a few minutes to ask yourself the following questions:

What am I doing right now? Am I spending my time wisely? Am I working hard and smart to better myself? Am I working hard to change the things that have not been working for me? Am I associating myself with the right people? Am I ready to learn from people who are better than me? Am I listening to great people? Am I been honest with myself? Do I really know what I want? Do I have what it takes to pursue what I want?

Why are the above questions relevant to your growth and development in life?

Because your future is predictable. Your future is in your own hand. Your future will get better when you get better. Your future will change for good when you change what you are doing right now. If you want to be the best, do the best things. Do small things in the best ways.

The key to your success is in your own hands. The key to your life is in your own actions. The key to your success is in your daily actions. It is hidden in your actions. You cannot separate your actions from your results. You get what you put into something. You get what you plant. If you plant great seeds, you will reap great fruits. If you don’t plant at all, you will reap nothing.

You can achieve anything you put your mind to. But if you put your mind to something that is not realistic, you will get an unrealistic result. Before you decide on what to pursue, make sure it is what you really love to do. Do what you love, not what you hate.

Mike Murdock said, “The secret of your future is hidden in your daily routine.”

Let us face it. No one will change your life for you, because no one knows what you want. You know what you want, only you can figure out how to get what you want. Right now, if what you are doing is not helping you move closer to your dreams, it is time for you to rethink about it, and find out how to make it better. If you cannot make it better, then it is time to move forward. If you don’t move forward, if you don’t change your bad habits, you will always get the same results.

If you want things to change for you, do things differently. If you want a better future, start creating now. It is never too late.
