‘Self-compassion is when we accept our weaknesses, flaws and insecurities and choose to respond by showing ouselves patience, understanding and kindness.’– Stuart Holah and Adrian Webster
Never beat yourself up. That is not why you are alive. You are alive to give yourself love, to challenge yourself.
You are here on this earth to make a difference in your life. Before you commit yourself to something, always ask yourself why you are doing it. What does it mean to you? What does it mean for your dream?
Is it going to help you? Or is it going to hurt you? Whatever it is that is not going to lift you up, that is not going to make you a better person, that is not going to breathe life into your soul, that is not going to make you bigger than you are now, it is not for you.
Do not waste your time on things that are against your values. Instead of beating yourself up, why not commit yourself to making your life better.
Why not commit yourself to accepting yourself for who you are, not for what you have? Why not commit yourself to loving yourself, regardless of where you are right now in your life?
Why not accept yourself for who you are, not for what you can do. Why not accept yourself as you, regadless of your weaknesses? Why not?
Again, do not beat yourself up for nothing. You deserve more than that. You are more than that.
Remember, if you want other people to love you, you must first love yourself. You are not alone. No one is perfect. We all have something that we don’t want people to know about us. We all have secrets.
You are not alone. Whatever it is that is bothering you, do not give in to it. If you can hang in there, you are more likely to make it in your life. keep going.
