You are your own designer. You can design your own life the way you want it. Everything is within your reach. You can do it. You can create it, but you have got to be willing to create it. You are not going to live a fulfilled life if you do not have the courage to create it. Whatever you want to design, whatever you want to create for yourself, you can create it. And now is the perfect time to start it. To start, do the following things:

“Don’t look for the next opportunity.”

Do not underestimate the power of what you are doing now. Whatever it is that you are doing right now, it has the power to change your life. Do not play with it. Take it seriously. Because it is the next opportunity that you are looking for. Your next opportunity is in your hands right now. Do not throw it away. Paul arden once said, “Do not look for the next opportunity. The one you have in hand is the opportunity.” What you are doing right now is what you are looking for. Take it seriously!

Have the courage to face your future

Success is all about courage. It is about having the courage to face your future, to do what you want to do, to live the life you want to live. It is not about running away from opportunities. Look, without courage, you are not going to grow. You are not going to achieve your dreams. Why is that? Because what you are looking for is on the other side of fear. And it will take courage to get there. Do you have the courage to face your future?

Get out of your comfort zone

If you want to get ahead in your life, you must get out of your comfort zone. Do not let the fear of failure stuck you in your comfort zone. If you stay there, you are not going to reach your highest potential. Tacitus once said, “The desire for safety stands against every great and noble enterprise.” If you are not growing in your comfort zone, you must leave. Because if you do not leave, you are not going to grow.

Live for yourself

You can treat others with love, with kindness, with comapassion, with respect, but you can live only for yourself. Do not try to make everybody happy. If you can make yourself happy, if you can live your life for yourself, that is good enough. In the words of John Donne, “We can live only for ourselves. A thousand fibers connect us with our fellow men.” If you really want to help other people, you must first help yourself.
