“Peace is not something you wish for; it is something you make, something you do, something you are, and something you give away.”– Robert Fulghum

If you want to connect with your REAL life, your inner self, your inner voice, you need to nurture your mind. When you nurture your mind, your mind will nurture you. You can’t be productive if you don’t have a healthy mind.

A peaceful life is a life with problems. No one can live a peaceful life without a problem. If you want peace, fight for it. It is your responsibility to make peace with yourself. Anthony de Mello said, “If it is peace you want, seek to change yourself, not other people.” If you can’t make peace with yourself, you can’t make peace with other people. Because a peaceful life starts with you.

If you are not at peace with yourself, check your thoughts. Are you thinking the right thoughts? Are you doing the right things? Are your words positive? Because you can’t be at peace with yourself if your words are negative. You can’t be at peace with yourself if your actions are negative. You can’t be at peace with yourself if you occupy your mind with negative thoughts.

If you want to be at peace with yourself, make peace with your mind.

Always Be Yourself

“If you want people to value you for who you really are, you must first value yourself for who you really are.”

It is easier to be yourself than to be someone you are not. You don’t have to hide anything about yourself. No matter where you are, what you do, where you work, where you eat, what you wear, how you look, always be yourself. Be proud of who you are. If you are not proud of yourself, if you don’t celebrate yourself, if you think you are not good enough, no one, I repeat, no one will celebrate you. You are who you say you are. For that reason, always say something positive about yourself. Don’t put yourself down. Joss Whedon said, “Remember to always be yourself. Unless you suck.” If you want people to value you for who you really are, you must first value yourself for who you really are.
