When you meet people, see them as human beings. Treat them as they want to be treated. You are responsible for making them happy. Make them see life in themselves. Don’t judge them. Help them feel good about themselves. Before you help other people, you must first help yourself. It is your duty to be there for others. But you cannot be there for others if you are not there for yourself. People need love. People need happiness. They just want someone to see them for who they really are. You can do that for them. But if you cannot make people happy, don’t make them unhappy. If you cannot love them unconditionally, don’t make them feel bad about themselves. If you can’t help people, stay away from harming them. Find ways to make them live their best lives.
I am helping myself to help other people.
Quote for the soul:
“It is necessary to help others, not only in our prayers, but in our daily lives. If we find we cannot help others, the least we can do is to desist from harming them.”– Dalai Lama
