‘When we endure hardship, it builds our mental strength and toughness. When we face difficult challenges, whether we succeed or not each time, we are nonetheless changed by the experience. If we get up again, we become stronger.’– Stuart Holah and Adrian Webster
Things will never go according to plan. But that is not enough for you to just kick your goals away. It is not enough to brush your plan under the rug. It is not enough to say to yourself that you are going to take a different path.
That is not the way to go. One of the best ways to get anything done in life is to face whatever it is that is trying to distract us.
You can do more for yourself if you are not distracted. You can do what you say you are going to do if you are not distracted, if you are not after what other people are doing.
Look, things will always happen, whether you want to deal with them or not.
So what are you going to do? Are you going to sit back and watch other people getting things done? That is not for you. That is not even part of your plan.
You are not living a directionless life. You are not living a purposeless life.
You are living a purposeful life, a life that has something to do with what you are living for. If you do not have anything to live for, that is a purposeless life. That is an empty life.
That is not for you. If you don’t want something like that to happen to you in the future, you must get to work. You must renew your vow. You must position yourself for greatness. You must be there to help yourself achieve what you want.
If not you, no one will. Remember, no focus, no success. If you want to be successful in your life, you must focus on what really matters to you.
If it is not important, don’t do it. If it is important, then you must do whatever is within your power to make it happen. The question is, ‘Will you do it?’
