“We all need joy, and we can all receive joy in only one way, by adding to the joy of others.”- Eknath Easwaran, Indian author

Stop waiting for joy to come to you. You are going to wait forever. Stop trying to get it by force. It won’t happen. Stop searching. Searching brings no joy to your life. The only way to receive joy is to give joy to other people. They need it. They need it more than you do. You can get whatever you are looking for if you can help other people get what they are looking for. Give out what you are looking for. Don’t search for joy, give joy to other people. Because you have enough joy within you. Just allow your joy to live, to expand, to exist. Everything you are looking for is already within you. You have it within you. Just allow yourself to live your life. Just allow yourself to give joy to other people. Joy is not what you search for; it is what you give. Just live your life. When you focus on what you already have, joy will come to you. When you celebrate your life, joy will come to you. When you know who you are, joy will come to you. When you know you already have enough joy in your heart, joy will come to you. Remember, you won’t receive what you are not willing to give to other people. So if you want to receive joy from other people, you must first give joy to others.

Stop searching for what you already have. You must focus on what you already have. Do not live your life by fear. Allow yourself to live your life to the fullest. You can live your life with what you already have. Don’t wait for what you don’t have. It will never come. Instead of waiting for what is not there, why not nurture what you have. Stop searching for what is not there. Life is not about searching for what is not there; it is about loving and appreciating what you already have. It is about celebrating what is there. Stop trying to make yourself happy. You are already a happy person. Just focus on what is going well for you. Just think happy thoughts. Just remove all negative thoughts from your mind. Searching for what is not there brings no joy, no value to your life. Live your life. Accept your life. Accept yourself for who you are. Accept yourself for who you are becoming. Remember, what you are searching for, you already have. You just have to connect with yourself. You just have to allow your life to blossom. You just have to allow the happiness within you to exist. If you can do that, everything is within your reach.
