To enjoy your work is to love it. If you don’t love what you do, you can’t be happy doing it. Friend, whatever it is that you do for a living, take it seriously. It matters. What you do matters. Take pride in what you do. It does not matter what you do. What matters is you feel about it. What matters is how you are doing your job. What matters is what the job is giving you.
In the words of Marcus Tullius Cicero, “Whatever you do, do it with all your might.” Whether you are a CEO or a cleaner, your job matters. Respect what you do, and you will find happiness in it.
People are not happy with their jobs because they don’t believe in what they are doing. They don’t believe in their jobs. The CEO’s job is not better than yours. If you think so, think again.
If you want to make your own job meaningful, change how you think, see, and do your job. Everything is all about perception. If you think your job is bad, it is bad. If you think your job is the best, it is the best. Make your job the best, and you will enjoy it.
It is easier to pretend that nothing is bothering us than to face the real story. We like to pretend that everything is perfect in our lives. Let us face it. Nothing is perfect in life.
It is better for some of us to push our problems
aside than doing something to fix it. Even when we know the end results of what
we are doing to ourselves, to our organizations, to our families, and to our
communities. We still do it. The question is, “why?”
We don’t like to look in the mirror to see who we really are. But you can’t blame the mirror for showing the real you. That is the real you. If you don’t like the person inside the mirror, change it. Only you can do that. I can’t do it for you. It is your responsibility to change the person inside the mirror.
We don’t like to face our problems because we
think they will go away by themselves. If you find yourself in such a
situation, don’t beat yourself up. There is a way out: face it, and change it.
It takes courage to make change happen in life.
But if we don’t change what we don’t like about ourselves, we are just going to
keep struggling with the same devil. The devil is there. It is not going
We are all going through something in life. We all
have one or two things to fix. We want to get rid of it as fast as we can, but
change takes time. Real change takes time. If you are going through something
in your life, don’t pretend that everything is alright, when it is not. If you
do that, you are deceiving yourself and the people around you.
If you want to change the thing that is affecting
your life, take a bold step to fix it. The only way to solve a problem is to take
action. ACTION CURES PROBLEMS. If you keep pretending that nothing is wrong,
the thing will continue to bother you, and it will continue to affect you.
If you don’t want something to keep bothering you,
you MUST bother yourself to take action to change it. If not, it will continue
to bother you.
